Do You Want to Obtain the Translator’s Authorization?

The beginning of the year makes us analyze the list of priorities for the next 12 months, as is in our nature to do something different in the new calendar year.

If obtaining the translator’s authorization is on your list of priorities, you should know that the National Institute for Cultural Research and Training has established the registration and testing period for getting this authorization. The registration period starts in a week (the 9th of January 2017) and ends on the 31st of January 2017; those who wish to register can do this by express courier or directly at the Institute’s office (22 Unirii Blvd, Bucharest). The exam will be held between the 20th and the 24th of March 2017 for a great number of foreign languages: English, French, Spanish, Italian, German, Portuguese, Russian, Bulgarian, Arabic, Chinese, Danish, Czech, Hebrew, Japanese, Hungarian, Greek, Dutch, Polish, Romani, Serbian, Slovak, Swedish, Turkish, Ukrainian and Norwegian.

If you want to follow this road and embrace this carrier, you should arm yourself with patience, as you will receive the results 30 calendar days after the exam. Moreover, the translator’s authorization will be issued another 60 calendar days after the exam results are displayed.

For those who fail to obtain the certificate in this session or to register in due time, the National Institute for Cultural Research and Training organizes a second session between the 23rd and the 27th of October 2017, for which you can register between the 4th and the 16th of September 2017.

Additional information for those interested in this profession can be found on the Institute’s website, together with the amendments to the law concerning the authorization of interpreters and translators.

Waiting for the new collaborators, we wish you the 2017 of your dreams!
